So, too, in the area of the Early Keep, the lower part of a similar store jar was found in sihi, the upper part of which, as became apparent in the course X)f the recent re-investigation of this area, had been cut off by a (see Section, 177). In this case again the pithos, which was bossed rather than knobbed, rested on a typical kalderim pave-ment, laid on the top of the outer foundation wall of the early Keep, belonging, as has been shown, to the early part of the M.
