A fine ivory powder flask,by the so-called "Meister der Tierkopfranke",Vienna,circa 1650. Circular ivory flask,carved over its entire surface. In the centres of both sides slightly domed medallions,one depicting a hare,and one showing a dog,each in front of a blooming bush. Continuous tendrils decoration with grotesque and animal heads. The spout featuring acanthus leaves decoration,two suspension loops on the sides. Small age cracks. Height 16 cm.
