This is one of the oldest garden flow- ers in existence, and retains its great popularity. The roots ought-to be planted as soon as the ground be- comes warm, and covered about three inches. It is an autumn flower, and ahhough blooming all summer, only attains its greatest beauty in the fall months, when the weather is cool. After flowering, and .before hard frost, take up the roots, dry them, remove the tops and keep in the cellar until spring, when they can be divided and replanted. We have them in great variety. Best tubers, 15 cents each, $ per LILIOI CANDIDUM. HYACINTHUS CANDICANS. A species of Hyacinth which blooms during August and September, growing three to five feet high, with long spikes of pure white flowers. It is perfectly hardy, and can be left in the ground over winter. 15 cents each, $ per dozen. JONQUIL, CAMPERNELLI. What a beautiful sight in early spring is a border of Jon- quils, their bright yellow blossoms enlivening the land- scape and giving promise of the beauty and fragrance which comes with spring and summer ! The Campernelli is the largest of all Jonquils. 50 cts. per doz., $3 per hund. EIEIES. The Lily has long been celebrated for its rare and chaste beauty. No plant capable of being cultivated out of doors possesses so many charms; rich and varied in color, stately and handsome in habit, profuse in variety and of deli- cious fragrance,
