Phil Graves,number 92 on the books, has a son Jerry tocarry on for the family. And Pledge JimEaton Is a brother-in-law of Dr. James , number 35 on the CHARLESUNDERWOOD New W. M. and vmsity track man The chapter was honored during the semes-ter holidays by a visit from Stewart , Executive Secretary. Another vis-itor of distinction was Arthur Holly Comp-ton, renowned cosmic ray authority, whogave a series of lectures here. AlthoughBrother Compton had little spare time in hisbrief stay, many of the boys became ac-quainted with him. Springing surprise strength during the in-door track season, the Missouri cindermenpromise to be a bigger threat in the out-door campaign. A big point winner so farthis season has been Pledge Harry Bridges,one of the outstanding high jumpers in theBig Six conference. Besides Bridges, P P Isrepresented on the track squad by CharlieUnderwood, quarter and half-miler. In baseball Jack Frye, Missouris triplethreat football star of last fall, is holdingdown an outfield berth. And in polo Gar-land Wilson is a member of the varsitysquad.—George Potts.
