A percussion rifle, Siber in Lausanne, circa 1840 Heavy octagonal and finely grained Damascus barrel with bright bore, slightly rough at the muzzle and good groove/land profile in mm calibre. On the top dovetailed front sight and adjustable rear sight and silver inlaid signature. Silver decorated patent breechblock with engraved tang. Colour case hardened percussion lock with en suite engraved and signed lockplate. Finely grained walnut half stock with partially blued, engraved furniture. Wooden ramrod with horn tip.
