Uvularia grandiflora

Uvularia grandiflora is an unusual woodland plant with lots of character. In late spring, its upright stems hook over at the end, and from these appear clusters of long, narrow, yellow buds, which open out into narrow, rather lily-like flowers. It is a lovely woodland plant. The genus name is derived from the Latin ūvula meaning "little grape," probably because of the way the flowers hang downward.
