Glanford biomass power plant. Originally designed to burn poultry litter, it was later converted for the burning of any biomass fuel. In the BSE crisis in the 1980s it was used to burn meat and bone meal from slaughtered cattle. Photographed in Flixborough, North Lincolnshire, March 2011
