The model 5786 trackball and the model 5787 forcestick areshown in figure 1-10. Each PED is self contained in a black plastic case designed fordesk top or similar use. Except for the means by which they arecontrolled, the two units are physically identical. The trackball is controlled by means of a phenolic compositionball that can be rotated continuously in any direction.
