Pink La France. We have always given this the first place—the Queen of Roses. Accounts come to us from all quarters every year describing the great profusion of its bloom from June until frost, and extolling its fra- grance and immense size. It is of superb form, and double as a Rose can be. No variety can surpass it in delicate col- oring—silvery-rose shades, with pink. It has a satin sheen over all its petals. It is most uni- versally regarded as the most useful of Roses, for it is hardy beyond question. It blooms continuously. The flower is large, finely built, endures for a great length of time, is ex- quisitely colored and fragrant in the highest degree. Price, 10 cents each; large size, 30 cents each. The Red La France. (Or Duchess of Albany.) We have no hesitancy in say- ing to our customers that this Rose stands at the head of all Roses, not excepting La France. What we wish to impress is the fact that as a Rose for all purposes it has no peer. It is identical with La, France, ex- cepting in three points. , Those are: A more vigorous growth, a larger and more expanded flower, and a deep, even pink in color; not shaded, but what is called a solid color. Price, 15 cents; large size, 30 cents. Striped La France. (Madame Angelique Veysset.) Everybody knows the beautiful La France—a Rose that has always had such a ready sale that the demand has never been fully met. Striped La France combines all the good qualities of La France in growth, fragrance, shape of bud and flower; in fact, differs from it only in two points: First, it is freer in bloom than the parent; sec- ond, it is nicely striped, the markings being plain and dis- tinct, the variegation a beautiful bright rose on a satin- pink ground. Price, 15 cents; large size, 30 cents each. White La France.
