PACIFIC OCEAN (July 16, 2017) Seaman Harry Ezeodum, a native of Lagos, Nigeria, assigned to the deck department aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), holds a meeting on the mess decks for all Sailors and Marines interested in joining the San Diego Soccer Team. San Diego is embarked on a scheduled deployment as part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, which is comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to America, Pearl Harbor, and San Diego.
