Model released. A nurse administering an anti- emetic drug, to a patient about to undergo chemotherapy for cancer. Nausea and vomiting are often associated with cytotoxic chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The drug is usually given by intravenous infusion just before therapy, and by tablets thereafter. Severely emetogenic therapy may require additional intravenous dosages.
