YOKOSUKA, Japan – Capt. Jeffrey Kim, Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) and Cmdr. Terry McNamara, Chief Staff Officer for Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka speak to guests during the 42nd annual Yokosuka Friendship Day celebration. The open base event highlights the friendship between the Navy and Japan. FLEACT Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
