Anglesey through sea mist from Rhoscolyn - Borth Wen Beach - North Wales
Borthwen is a pretty, sandy crescent located on the southern shore of Holyhead island. Backed by sand dunes there are also a few little rocky islets along the length of the beach. This is a great family beach with its shallow sloping sands and abundance of rockpools. There are also a few basic amenities such as toilets and showers. The beach at Borthwen is reached by a very narrow lane and there is a small car park by the beach.
