Kazakhstan's Almaty based Belkamit machinetooling plant is the country's leading manufacturer of high pressure vessels and other equipment for the oil and gas industry. The joint venture was created in the 90-s under Nunn-Lugar programme instead of a former soviet missile manufacturing plant. Then it was abandoned and survived in tough market conditions.
