Within the walls the streamsthat enter turn two mills, which served for grind-ing the food of the citizens and people; andpassing the mills, the water issues from the tun-nel, and runs in a full stream through the middleof the town to the port. The other side of the town, opposite to theKing, is well fortified with a double ditch, ofwhich the interior one is of unknown depth, andthe proper breadth.
