10/07/2021: Hundreds gathered in Monument Square in central Concord, Massachusetts to support the passage of United States Congressional bill and S-1 or the “For the People Act of 2021”. The For the People Act was a bill in the United States Congress to expand voting rights, change campaign finance laws and limit partisan gerrymandering. The Concord demonstration called “Save Democracy” was organized by Indivisible a progressive American movement started as a reaction to the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States. Concord Massachusetts, an affluent community miles ( km) northwest of Boston, is known as the place where the first military battle between British and Revolutionary soldiers took place in 1775.
