Guilds' Perpetual Pea. A customer first sent, us seed of this remarkable Pea five years ago. We have grown it ever since, and the claims made for it have been fully justified. It is a strong grower, reaching a height of eight to ten feet if given proper sup- port- It begins bearing early and continues to grow, blos- som and ripen pods until killed by frost. As fast as the pods got ripe and dry I picked them off and kept doing so until the end of September when it was so cold I picked the green ones and we had a mess for dinner the last day of September. I got six quarts of nice dry Peas from the ounce of seed you sent ; It is a good-sized, wrinkled Pea of the very finest qual- ity.
