The Studio Building or Prellerhaus at the Bauhaus Dessau, where students aka Bauhausler lived. The restored rooms can now be booked for overnight stay

The studio building housed students and junior masters in 28 studio flats, each measuring 20 m2. Everything from the floor plan and the materials to replicas of the original furniture has been returned to its original state. Selected rooms are dedicated to the Bauhausler students Alfred and Gertrud Arndt, Josef and Anni Albers and Franz Ehrlich. 23 of the 28 rooms can be rented for overnight stay. 17 single rooms and 6 double rooms are available for a very modest sum. However staying in a World Cultural Heritage Site from the 1920s comes with some 1920s comfort: while beds are new and up to current standards, the bathrooms are down the corridor: Sanitary facilities include shower and WC on each floor, maintained in the style of the Bauhaus era. There is no television, hairdryer or minibar, nor is there a lift. But each floor has it's original kitchenette.
