RED SEA (Dec. 03, 2016) Chief Petty Officer April Jackson, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94), participates in bingo on the ship's mess decks. Jackson serves aboard Nitze as a logistics specialist and is responsible for managing inventories, issuing repair parts and maintaining financial reports. Nitze, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
