Medium, rich dark or red or crimson; flesh fine creamy yellow, firm, crisp and very juicy. Shockley. Medium, conic, regular, fine waxen yel- low, with crimson cheek; flesh yellow, very firm. Novem- ber to April. Arkansas Black. Large, dark crimson, dotted with white specks; flesh yellow. A fine keeper. Grimes' Golden. Medium to large, golden yellow, very crisp, tender, juicy and sprightly. Hall. Light yellow, covered with bright red; sprinkled with numerous gray dots; flesh rich, creamy yellow. Kentucky Streak. Large, conical and very hand- some, flesh white, crisp and juicy. Kinnaird's Choice, Medium to large, dark red, flesh yellow, crisp, tender and high-flavored. Celebrated Tennessee winter apple. Tull. The Tull Apple originated with Mr. Abram Tull of Grant County, Ark., more than thirty years ago. From the sprout dug from the original tree several smallorchards were planted and not until within the past few years has this variety been produced by grafting. Fruit medium to large, green with red stripes re- sembling the Geniton,but much larger. It has a distinct, rich sub-acid flavor, crisp and juicy. It has no superior as a cooking apple, and is a fine eating ap- ple. Its chief claim is its im- muninty from rot and disease, and its hardihood in maturing perfectly under all the severe and trying conditions of soil and
