Recruits from Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, hold up their war bags during receiving at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, April 17. The war bags are part of the recruits’ initial gear, and they will receive the rest of their gear at the end of the week. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Hotel Company is scheduled to graduate July 14.
