Along with the architects, the sculptor Jorge Oteiza intervenes for the main façade, the painter Lucio Muñoz for the decoration of the apse, the sculptor Eduardo Chillida for the main access doors, Fray Javier María Álvarez de Eulate in charge of the stained glass windows,9 the painter Néstor Basterretxea for the decoration of the walls of the crypt and Xabier Egaña who signed the mural paintings in the Virgin's chamber.
