Winch in Elienabeich, Seil, Argyle, Scotland.


An old winch in the village of Elienabeich on the Hebridean island of Seil, The area has a long history of slate mining and the winch was used to help unload boats moored on the quayside. It was rescued from its old site on the pier before the pier collapsed and relocated into the centre of the village. The shot was taken at the end of summer, in September.
