I59 feeds on fruits, feeds, and infefls; it is a lively,active little bird, and, when it alights, has a varietyof motions, whirling about and jerking its tail up-wards and downwards, like the Wagtail. It isfound in Italy, France, Germany, and Ruflia, andis much more plentiful in many parts of the con-tinent than in i6o BRITISH BIRDS.
