HELMAND PROVINCE, Afghanistan (June 20, 2018) - Soldiers with 2nd Kandak, 2nd Brigade, Afghan National Army (ANA) 215th Corps simultaneously fire an SPG-9 recoilless rifle during a live-fire range supervised by ANA instructors at Camp Shorabak. ANA soldiers fired live rounds to familiarize themselves with the weapon system while simultaneously building their confidence and enhancing the unit’s overall proficiency for future operations in the battlefield.
