A chiselled Persian pesh kabz,circa 1800 Slightly curved T-back blade of wootz Damascus with a central rib and reinforced edge and back. Chiselled floral decoration on both sides of the ferrule as well as at the base of the blade with vase-shaped gold inlays. Wootz Damascus grip frame(exterior somewhat pitted)cut en suite with riveted(minimal restoration)walrus ivory grip scales. Wooden scabbard covered with suede and with two embossed silver mountings.
