The drawers contained in the cabinetare locked by pushing home the bottom drawer, and locking the same, thusforcing the bar up and allowing the clips to drop. If some drawers have beeninadvertently left open, it is not necessary to re-open the bottom drawers, butthey should be pushed in, the plate coming into contact with the rounded frontof clip effecting a raising action, and the clip falls down into the hole providedon the plates. A plate need not be made the whole length of the bottomdrawer back, three short pieces of iron about 2\ in. long, screwed under eachfalling bar, being sufficient.
