The one topic of general interest in New York this week is the International Flower Show. There will be less than usual of the "international" about it, as foreign exhibits will be few and far between. Society people are taking a deep interest in the success of the ex- hibition, and the New York dailies were featuring the show and its novelties iu their Saturday and Sunday issues, the publicity department of the exhibition being in the same competent hands as in 1916. I note that G. E. M. Stumpp and A. Kottmiller have added Randall foun- tains to their attractive window ex- hibits. Walter Mott is in the city making a preliminary convass of Long Island prior to the opening of the flower show, at which he will have charge of the ex- hibits of Benjamin F. Hammond, of Beacon, N. Y. Guttman & Raynor were featuring a new rose March 10, a bright pink with small buds, called Daily Mail. The firm is realizing 20 cents each for the best Prima Donna roj^es. Adolph Rosens is again associated with his father, B, Rosens, in the florists' supply business. Joseph Vocke, who has ben ill from a second attack of pleuropneumonia, was reported out of danger March 10. Mr. "Vocke represents W. H. Siehrecht, Sr., of Chappaqua, N. Y., at his branch stand in the Coogan building. F. Millang, Jr., son of Frank Millang, and associated with his father in the wholesale cut flower business, has been elected chairman of the school board of Peekskill, N. Y. Congratulations of the trade are ten- dered J. J. Fellouris on
