It should be said that the Italian airships already in useare considered merely as experimental types, though theyhave done remarkably good work. The P type at presentin use, with a gas capacity of 4500 cubic metres and aspeed of a little over 50 kilometres an hour, is consideredtoo small and too slow for military requirements.
