Model or part of a floating dock Model or part of a floating dock Model or Part of a Floating Dry Dock, The dock consisted of two halves, model represents a part of one half. It is made entirely of brass, the construction consisting of angles of angle iron, reinforced with diagonal connections and sheet metal. Partitions divide the whole into watertight compartments, which are filled to let the dock sink. The model has a steam engine under the upper deck, a steam boiler and two centrifugal pumps for emptying. The struts for the ship are not indicated on the model. Scale 1:25 (scale on model).,
