Armstrong-Slater Memorial Trade Schoolwas opened in November 1896, with an address byPresident Gilman of Johns Hopkins University. Itis a one-story brick building on the plan of a quadruplecross with an interior courtyard. A second story isnow in process of construction which will double theoriginal floor space.
