Yoruba cultural troupes waiting to receive the newly installed Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.

Oba Enitan Ogunwusi was anointed among other illustrious sons of Ile-Ife on October 26, 2015, as the 51st Ooni of Ife and afterward received his staff of office. Described as an “astute entrepreneur driven by the need to turn impossibilities into possibilities”, he is the intermediary between the gods and the people, not only in the country but also the world over, and of course during annual festivals. A renowned philanthropist whose commitment to humanity is unswerving, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi comes across as a unique achiever whose power of imagination and innovation are extraordinary. Interestingly, some of his achievements include the construction of the multi-billion-naira Ife Grand Resort, which covers over 1,000 acres of land in Ile-Ife, Southwest Nigeria which had over 3,000 youths engaged at the construction site. He also empowered more than 20,000 widows who are victims of war by engaging them in palace community sanitation with attractive benefits. He is in liaison with many agricultural research institutes in order to encourage the youths to go back to farming. He aims at establishing the largest cocoa nursery field in Nigeria to start the generation of improved seedlings since Ife is one of the biggest producers of cocoa in the country. As a devout lover of culture and tradition, the Ooni has determined to renovate and perhaps reconstruct all tourist spots that have been in existence for eons so as to promote tourism and also put Ile-Ife on the world map. A rare gem, the charismatic monarch is the father of the Yoruba world whose influence cuts across all strata of life. An inimitable achiever, administrator extraordinaire, and globally-respected business tycoon, His Imperial Majesty Ooni Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II is indeed a golden fish that has no hiding place.
