Enter your prize-winning vegetables, baking, or preserves into the garden and homebaking contest. Just fill out the enclosed form and return it to the River Valley Outdoor Centre. FOLK ART KITS A series of slide presentations on the traditional ethnic crafts has been produced by the Multicultural Heritage Centre in cooperation with the Alberta Cultural Heritage Foundation. Each kit contains a history of the craft, background information of the craft technique, detailed photographs, list of reference materials, samples of crafts and a comprehensive slide display and text. Folk Art Crafts include: Bobbin Lace, Finnweaving and Rya Rugs, French Canadian Ceinture Fleche, Indian Leather and Beadwork, Norwegian Rosemaling and Ukranian Willow Baskets. The Folk Art Kits are available to any group or individual under the following conditions: Loan fee of $ Borrower is responsible for the cost of shipping to and from the Centre and returning when due.
