The image shows the 369th Infantry Parade in New York, NY on February 15, 1919. Governor Alfred Smith viewed the parade from the second reviewing stand at Lenox Ave and 136th Street, in the heart of the regiment's recruitment area. Also present were Charles T. Craig, Comptroller of the city of New York; Rodman Whenmaker, Chairman of Mayor's Committee of Welcome; Gov. and Mrs. Smith, and former governor Whitmas C. The parade featured the famous "Hell Fighters" regiment. The photo was taken by photographer T. Geo. H. Lyon and issued with the description 111-SC-38746.
