The Saddle, Pedestal and Hanger.—The nextthing to do is to make the patterns for the cylin-der saddle, the driving wheel pedestal and thehanger for the trailing wheels. These are shownat A, B and C in Fig. 56 and the dimensions are A Model Atlantic Type Locomotive 145 marked on them. Drill two holes through thesaddle, four through the pedestal and two throughthe hanger so that they can be riveted to theboiler shell and fire-box as shown at A in Fig. 55.
