This view, from Bankside on the south bank of the River Thames, looks north-east, with Southwark Bridge at lower right. The skyscraper under construction at right is 20 Fenchurch Street (known as 'The Walkie-Talkie'). Construction began in 2009 and it will reach a height of 160 metres on its scheduled completion in 2014. The skyscraper under construction at centre is 122 Leadenhall Street (known as 'The Cheesegrater'). Construction began in 2009 and was completed by June 2013, reaching a height of 225 metres.
