PACIFIC OCEAN (June 27, 2017) An MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, assigned to the “Wildcards” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23, lifts a pallet of ordnance from the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8). Makin Island is conducting a post-deployment ammunition off-load off the coast of Southern California. (
