Many times,however, a deep hard-rubber pad, of good size, may be wornwith equal comfort and prove far more serviceable. If theirreducibility of the hernia is caused by adherent omentum inthe canal, that does not extend down to the scrotum and issmall in quantity, then a concave pad will prove useful.
