Ismahs excellent record was established byhis attention to duty, and by always havingthe good of the Compan\ at heart. He has letters of commendation from ThomasFitzgerald and Charles \V. Galloway, in replyto congratulatory letters from him on theoccasions of their appointments to the positionof general ISMAH SMITH The writer has known Ismah for nearly tenyears and through her daily observation hasbeen much impressed by his reliability, willing-ness and excellent Christian character. A. on the evening of June 13. Dr. Hare, superintendent of the MarylandAnti-Saloon League, spoke on the evils of in-dulgence in alcoholic beverages. After his address there was a business meetingat which the following officers were elected:President, J. W. Gardiner; first vice-president,Frank O.
