Head nearly twice as long as broad, rugose, granulate above from between the eyes; snout 2^ times as long as postocular part of head, terminating in an acutely pointed appendage; eye supero-lateral, 10 times in length of head, 2§- times in interorbital width; lips moderately developed; prsemaxillary teeth forming a short and broad band; movable mandibular teeth minute, 8 in number.
