Indoors, the spacious rooms, withtheir deep window-seats and handsome wainscoting, pro-duce a charming effect, while the interest that a touch ofthe mysterious gives is added by a hidden stairway leadingto the garret, to which a secret panel in the dining-roomwoodwork gives entrance.
