Boletus mushrooms (Boletus pruinatus) growing in grass. These are the edible fruiting bodies of this fungus. They disperse the reproductive spores through yellow pores on the underside of the convex cap. This fungus grows in woodlands, especially near beech trees, feeding on decaying vegetation in the soil.
