Having been for many years the consulting Veterinarian to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the author of this book desires to supplement the humane ivork in which the Society is engaged, by miti- gating in so far as he is able the troubles of our Canine friends when suffering ailments incident to their species.
