DEEPLY-CUT SUGAR VASE AND COVER. as beauteous, and as honourable to English skill and enterprise asthe productions of the Elkingtons in orfecrerie, and of Minton andothers in pottery. The bronzed glass of Messrs. Webb is alsoexceedingly fine, and they exhibit likewise a multitude of charminglittle to}rs and table ornaments in glass, which an inexperiencedobserver might imagine to be articles de Paris, but which arenevertheless, like the more important and superb examples ofsculptured cameo, intaglio, and engraved glass, exclusively due tothe talent and ingenuity of British workmen and executants. I beautiful unsold objects belonging to Messrs. Webbs Paris exhibit, are to beseen at Messrs. Thomas Goode & Sons in South Audley Street, and thatMr. W. Mortlock of St. Jamess Street, likewise has an assortment of Messrs,Webbs artistic lass. GRAND PRIZEMEN. 117 hold this to be a most important point, artistically and nationallyconsidered. I admire
