Stargazers, Uranoscopus sp. are extremely difficult to find day or night. The fish bury themselves in the sand leaving only their eyes, teeth and jaw ready for action. Perfectly camouflaged during the day, these predators lie in wait and eat small fish. The blue light at night reveals their fluorescent orange pigments which makes them highly visible.
