Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, Prelate of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America, officiated a rendition of the Armenian divine liturgy (badarak) and simultaneous ordination of two priests at St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral in New York City. Upon ordination, the two priest received new clerical names, Deacon Vahe Bagdasarian becoming Father Armash and Deacon Saro Kalayjian becoming Father Avedis.
