The sentiment of the time is as happily expressed as the scene is faithfully depicted.

Altogether, the picture is very creditable to the young artist; who, we should add, is a son of Mr. Frederick Goodall, the Royal Academician, thus promising to continue the fame of this artist family in the third generation'.
