Manhattan sailing school in World Financial Center. Manhattan Sailing School is the largest and most active sailing school in the tri state region From end of May to end of Septembre. New York August 22 2006 Sailing teams from 12 countries aboard of a fleet of identical J 24 sailboats are competing at the Dennis Conner International Yacht Club Challenge held from August 22 to 26 2006 in the NY Harbor ÊThe event is supported by the Harbor Sailing Foundation. West of the city, among which was the World Trade Center and Batery Park City, this business complex designed in 1987 by Cesar Pelli & Associates and Brookfield Properties Corporation ownership rises. It consists of 4 buildings of varying heights and granite roofs with different geometric shapes that house the offices of the largest multinationals in the world. Along with the buildings oriented WFC and Hudson River is the Winter Garden, a greenhouse built with staggered glass and steel 36 meters tall and a courtyard with shops, restaurants and stunning 16 palms.
