From the sketch it is evident that the new house is divided l>y a cross parti- tion into two rooms, of which the one next to the boiler room is 21x60 feet, with three and one-half feet of glass in one side wall. The other side of this house is against one of the present houses. The other room is 21x40 feet, with three and one-half feet of glass in the two side walls and one end wall. To heat the north room to 48 to 50 degrees and the other to 40 to 45 degrees when it is 25 degrees below zero outside, about the same amount of radiation will bo required, and unless it is desired to have the heat shut oflf from one room when the other is heated, it will merely be necessary to run three 2Vi-iiich flow pipes through the two rooms and at the farther end of the 21x40-foot house join them with twelve 2-inch returns. Run a coil of four 2-inch returns on each side wall and arrange the others either in one or two coils, according to the ar- rangement of the benches. To heat the entire range will require a boiler rated at 2,500 to ;?,000 square feet of hot water radiation. The new house will need a boiler rated at 1,500 to 1,800 square feet. For the average gr
