STATES OF MICRONESIA (Dec. 12, 2016) – Loadmasters attached to the 36th Airlift Squadron, Yokota Air Base, Japan, look out at one of the Micronesian islands during Operation Christmas Drop Dec. 11. Operation Christmas Drop is an international humanitarian operation that provides critical supplies to 56 islands through the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, Federated States of Micronesia and Republic of Palau, impacting about 20,000 people.
